  5. The Chainware Credit Authorization module allows the cashier at the POS
  6. terminal to obtain authorization via a TrasIt terminal.  The authorization
  7. process is done automatically upon entering the credit card information, but
  8. the actual transaction will not be process (the money will not be transferred
  9. to your account) until the batch has been settled.  The TrasIt terminal stores
  10. the transactions for each batch and these transactions may be modified or
  11. cancelled before the batch is settled.  It differs from the older conventional
  12. method in which the funds were not transferred to the accounts until the
  13. proper credit procedures had been completed, sometimes taking up to two weeks
  14. before funds were transferred.
